Eternal God you are the giver of all life. So we take this precious opportunity to thank you for the gift of life that you have so bountifully given to each of us. We praise you and thank you for the countless blessings and mercies you have shown mankind time and time again.

We praise you for EVERY event, every occasion where You have shown Yourself strong in our lives. You have strengthen us in time of trial and held us up in the face of adversity. You have granted us a place of refuge… a holy abode. You have given us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and a Spirit of praise in the place of depression.

Thank you for knowing the intimate and intricate details of each and every one of us: so much so that you know the number of hairs on our heads. Thank you Lord. Thank you for your love, your grace, your mercy, your long suffering, your kindness, your compassion. Thank you for protecting leading and guiding us. Thank you for the victory we have over the enemy and for the power of the Holy Spirit working in us.

In this moment, we give thanks to you O Lord, for family and friends, for health and for the precious gift of your Son. Thank you for loving us when it seems as if we were unlovable. We thank you for delighting in us and crowning us with salvation. You are Holy and worthy of ALL our praises. Be blessed our King and Savior.

In Jesus Name, we pray. Amen

The Bible is clear concerning prayer and that we should ALWAYS pray. A question was posed: Is it really necessary to pray? In an attempt to answer this question, I thought about how one become acquainted with another. Sure it is possible to observe someone and know his/her habits and even gain some knowledge of their ideas and/or opinions. However, you will never really know a person accurately or intimately until you take the necessary time to sit and talk with them.
Prayer is the vehicle of finite man taking a moment of his existence to commune with the GREAT I AM that I AM. Prayer should not be burdensome. It should not be a chore. It is really an opportunity. It is a blessing that God would grant us such sweet pleasure.
All in all prayer is not only beneficial it is essential. The Bible declares to pray and cease not. When you pray, remember this is NOT a futile act; it will produce fruit and you will be blessed.

Lord we bless you for prayer. We realized that prayer is not a waste of time but it for our good and your glory. In prayer, we will get to know you all the more. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Over the years prayer has been made complicated. So much so that instead of communing with God prayer is ritualistic. Let me stop here and say: I am NOT belittling prayer in the least and I believe prayer should be structured when it can (we will deal with structure at a later point). However, life is NOT structured. There will be times when we will come face to face with issues, situations and circumstances which can leave us in a state of despair, loneliness and anger. It is during those times that we need to simply talk.

You may not have all the fine points:
1. Recognizing the Holiness of God
2. Recognizing the Authority of God
3. Recognizing the Sovereignty of God
4. Recognizing the forgiveness of God and thus in us
5. Recognizing the Salvation and deliverance of God
6. Recognizing the Infiniteness of God.

We may not know all the names for God. But we have HOPE. Hope that if we call the Lord then we will receive an answer. We have a direct connection to the One who knows all and can deliver, strength and restore us for the journey ahead. The Bible says – “I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer.” (Psalm 17:6 NIV)

By humbly calling on the Lord you recognize that He is Holy and worthy of your praise (Psalm 18:3). So today we erase all methods which may intimidate you from talking with your Lord and allowing your God to commune with you. All of God’s children are welcome to communicate, morning, noon or night. The Bible says that God welcomes our prayers.

Lord, we appreciate the ability and the unlimited access to converse with you one on one. Thank you for prayer. In Jesus Name, Amen.

30 Days of Prayer

30 Days of Prayer Welcome

Prayer is the strongest haven for Creation. Yet, prayer has been used and abused so much so that mankind has sought not to pray

We don’t have time or the patience to read the vast numbers of books on prayer. We don’t want to or have the ability to devote to deciphering one theological perspective from another. So we just refused to pray. And when one refuses to pray they have neglected to spend the necessary and valuable time with the Creator.

However, we are stationed here to let you know – YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO COMMUNE with your God as anyone else.  Not only do you have a right but you should do yourself a favor and pray.

Are there pre-requisites for prayer? NO! But if you want your prayers heard then… Yes. You must be a child of God (repentance of your sins).   Proverbs 15:8 states: “The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is His delight”. The 29th verse of that same Proverb says “the Lord is far from the wicked: but He heareth the prayer of the righteous.”

So before we begin this journey I would like to make sure you each has a personal relationship with God.

If you are not in a personal relationship with God, then let’s take a moment right now to confess our sins to the Lord – WHATEVER they are. Now let’s ask God for forgiveness – which is given immediately. Now ask Him to come into your heart. (See the link – which is not my work –  below for the complete plan of Salvation and let me know if you have any questions)

“Lord we thank you now for this vehicle which has allowed us to reach masses of people with the simple thought that men must always pray and do not cease. Thank you so much for allowing us the gateway to commune with you. We love you and adore you and most of all we are grateful for the gift of your Son for the remission of our sins.” In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.

With Love,
